Meet the Beacon livestock guided walk

Join the Beacon Ranger team for a family focused walk to see and learn more about the cows, sheep and alpacas who live and “work” at Beacon Hill Country Park.

This 1 ½ hour walk will give you plenty of opportunities for some safe supervised up close encounters with our herd, where you will hear more about the breeds, how they help with the conversation work on the park.

This walk will be over non surfaced paths and uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather conditions.

Unfortunately, dogs cannot be accommodated for this walk.

Car parking charges apply.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Under 5’s are welcomed. Please be aware that some children may find the livestock a bit intimidating due to the size and how close they get.
