Market Bosworth Circular Walk

Join us for a 9-mile guided walk spanning Market Bosworth, Sutton Cheney and Bosworth Battlefield.

Start: Market Bosworth Country park, 10am

We’ll begin with a tour of Market Bosworth Country Park, taking in Beau pool, the Arboretum and woodlands.

The route will then continue along a section of the Leicester round, ‘St Agnes drive’, past the horse memorials and looking glass pond towards the village of Sutton Cheney.

We will then arrive at Bosworth Battlefield, where a comfort break may be taken.

Afterwards we will walk to Sutton Cheney Wharf, before returning along the Ashby canal and back towards the Market town of Market Bosworth via the gated road. We hope to show views of the historic Hercules memorial that stands on private ground aside the road.

 Well behaved dogs are welcome.
