Bagworth Heath: Dragon Walk Event

Join Ian Merrill, our County Dragonfly recorder on a guided walk around the established ponds at Bagworth Heath. We’ll be trying to record all the dragonfly and damselfly species that will be on the wing during July, with the hope to see the White Legged Damselfly which has recently started to breed here.Meet at 13:00 in the main car park at Bagworth HeathExpected time for walk – 2 hours. Please note that we will be walking around the ponds so please keep children under close supervision. The paths will be grass and may be uneven underfoot. There are no facilities on site. Please bring plenty of refreshments and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. It’s a free event and children are welcome.
